Marque tent corner puller assist tool for the Winnipeg Fringe Festival

The problem.  20 year old coated canvas of the marque tent top has shrunk over time. Pulling the last corner loop over the hoop hook with the attached nylon handle has become increasingly difficult. 

The solution. Build a tool to assist with this. The tool rests on the bottom of the hoop hook which then becomes a lever point. The tent top tension keeps the tool seated as the handle is pulled down. The nylon loop slides down the polished side of the tool as the leverage angle changes. The nylon loop slides over the tool end and the tent tension causes it to snap into place.
